Songlines Music Travel Individual Holidays
Well work has now been pretty much wrapped up on optimising the homepage for Songlines music travel, so now I'm getting cracking on promoting a couple of individual holidays.
The lucky holidays I'm working on are:
1. A trip to Segou Mali for the Festival on the Niger.
2. A chance to Travel to Senegal for Mbalax music Holidays
3. One of their Cuban Music Holidays and Havana Tours with guide Philip Sweeney (author of The Rough Guide to Cuban Music).
I can only imagine what great holidays these are (and believe me I am), so lets hope search marketing pays enough to one day send me.

Songlines Music Travel
Hmmmm.... I'm day dreaming about a holiday.
If you are like me, every time you go on holiday, to no matter where, always in the back of your mind is one thing. Where can I find a second hand record shop and are the any local music festivals happening.
Well, I'm not the only one who does this and those nice people at Songlines Magazine have decided that there are so many 'music travelers' out there that it makes sense to start offering music holidays for them.
Get this, 'The Music of Cuba' – 15 days travel around the island of Cuba visiting all the most well know musical locations with tour guide Philip Sweeney (Author of The Rough Guide to Cuban Music). This just sounds great! A trip to Cuba with the UK's top authority on Cuban music.
The only problem I can think of is you are in a small group, so what happens when he takes you to his favorite record shop. Will he have secretly been there the day before to get his stuff first, will it be an all out battle with the other people in the group for that one 'magic' record. Or will everyone, suddenly disappear off into back alleys separately, in search of their own secret shops.
Who knows???? Only way to find out would be go, so here's hoping one day I'm able to experience one of these incredibly holidays with Songlines Music Travel for World Music-Culture-Dancing Holidays and Tours.

Return of the Saragossa Manuscript
I then spent the next 7 years living in Poland, in a city called Lodz, the most famous film city in Poland with its remarkable film school that produced Wajda, Krzyslowski, and Polanski amongst many others.
Well there is another important film maker, who was not educated in Lodz (in Krakow instead) but who made some of Poland's most important and challenging films before going on to become director of the Lodz Film School for the last 10 years of his life. His name is Wojchiech Has and his greatest master piece is a film called 'The Saragossa Manuscript'.
For that reason you can imagine how happy I was when my company Rec-Ignition was approached to make a fansite for this incredible film by Mr Bongo Films who had just snapped up worldwide rights.
Armed with a keen knowledge of polish film myself and an array of polish academics wishing to write on the subject, soon I had built The Saragossa Manuscript Fansite on this marvelous film.
Check it out, you won't regret it.
